Lindsay Lohan Cozies Up With Lauren Conrad

With her big-screen career in tatters, Lindsay Lohan is cozying up to Lauren Conrad, hoping to land a gig on MTV's "The Hills", sources tell the Enquirer in an article that is published this week. The troubled 21-year-old star - who's battled drug and alcohol problems - has reportedly been "unattached" from her latest film project, the indie movie "The Manson Girls."

But Lilo, who is set to appear in the season finale and five episodes next season of ABC's "Ugly Betty," cozied up to Lauren, 22, at a Cinco de Mayo party at the Crown Bar in West Hollywood, according to insiders. "Lindsay was there with her close friend Samantha Ronson, but Sam was Deejaying the whole time, so Lauren and Lindsay were buddies all night," a source told The Enquirer.

"Their new friendship may not be good for Lindsay's efforts to shed her party-girl image, since Lauren loves to go clubbing," the writer speculates. But it could be good for her effort to get into TV because Lauren's close friends always end up on her show.

Perhaps Lindsay would fit in perfectly on 'The Hills'. She loves clubs, shopping and the L.A. lifestyle just as much as Lauren and her co-stars Lo, Audrina and Heidi. And Lindsay's certainly caused her fair share of drama!"
