Rolling Stones rate Amy Winehouse

Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards has revealed that the only modern pop star that he rates at the moment is Amy Winehouse.

In an interview with Mail on Sunday's Live magazine Keith, 64, who is also famous for his illegal drug consumption spoke about his life of drug abuse and police trouble which he felt was the same life that Amy was headed for.

The Rolling Stones guitarist related himself to the troubled star, stating that he did not expect her to listen but didn't think that she would be around for long unless she unless she cleaned up her act.

The former heroin addict spoke highly of Amy saying 'I'm not a preacher but I've been there and you have to pass it on.'

Speaking frankly he confessed that he still smoked weed all the time and said that he was once so high on drugs that he let a firework burn his finger to the bone.

'Amy has got to get smart' he said, 'It (drugs) completely took over our lives creatively and we couldn't do this and do that'

Stones' front man Mick Jagger also said that Amy would end up spending all of her time with police if she didn't clean up.
