David Beckham is a front row Spice Girls fan, but who's that blocking their ears?

They famously met while she was a world famous pop star - and he a rising star in the Manchester United football team - and David Beckham is still wife Victoria's number one fan - but not everyone in the audience appeared to share his view.A couple of unimpressed concert-goers sat with their fingers jammed in their ears seemingly to block out the sound from the Spice Girl's comeback show as they performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

David sat transfixed as his gold-clad wife strutted her stuff onstage, while sat beside Svengali manager Simon Fuller, and country singing star Carrie Underwood.But the female fans winced at the noise, and clearly were not enjoying the show with quite the same verve as soccer superstar David.

Last night's show marked the first time that two of the '90s British-pop quintet's members joined longtime bandmates in the sprawling California city since they made permanent moves out west."I love it here," explained Victoria Beckham (aka "Posh Spice"), who relocated from Spain earlier this year with soccer-superstar husband David Beckham and their three sons.
"It's exciting, because we have friends here, and our family is here, as well."It feels like home. It really feels like we're performing at home."

Melanie B moved to Los Angeles in 2003. But the other band members, Geri and Emma said even they have grown accustomed to the L.A. lifestyle."We've all been here, staying here for quite a while," said Baby Spice, Emma Bunton."We've all fallen in love with it, as well. You might have a few more Spice Girls moving here."The Spice Girls on Sunday kicked off their tour, the band's first since 1999, in Vancouver, British Columbia.Future stops include Las Vegas, New York and London as the tour continues into 2008.The band also confirmed reports that David Beckham purchased each member a diamond bracelet to celebrate the start of the tour."Oh, it was from a little store called Octopussy," said Melanie C, showing off her Beckham bling.And Victoria Beckham added: "My husband, when he married me, married all the Spice Girls, and he has to look after us all."
