Shouldn't you be somewhere else? Posh turns up looking rather tipsy in New York

While her former Spice Girl bandmates were collecting a Best Band award at last night's Glamour Awards, Victoria Beckham was in need of a little help from her friends as she left a New York restaurant.

Posh was flanked by two pals as she tottered out of upmarket restaurant STK in the trendy meatpacking district.

Her absence at last night's high profile event - attended by Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown - did not go unnoticed but it seems she had a more pressing engagement.

Posh flew to New York for the high-profile CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night.

Yesterday she went to a meeting in Manhattan at Conde Nast before indulging in some retail therapy at the Bergdorf Goodman store.

Perhaps she was a little giddy over the news that her husband David has bought her a vineyard for her 34th birthday.

The star is said to have paid a seven-figure sum for the estate in the Napa Valley, which will produce wine exclusively for their consumption.

Meanwhile, her Hollywood pal Kate Beckinsale, who won best film actress last night, said her boobs were being helped out by a very unusual gift from her pal Victoria Beckham.

She said: 'Victoria gave me some nipple covers, which are very useful. She said, "Use these so you're not smuggling peanuts in your frock!."'

Kate and Posh are constantly photographed together when they're hanging out in LA.

The actress added: 'I do see Victoria quite a lot because she's got kids the same age as mine and she's English and a really good laugh.'

Hungover Lily says sorry to fans

very hungover Lily Allen has written a grovelling apology to fans, saying her drunken disgrace at the Glamour Awards was 'not pretty'.

Writing on her blog, she conceded she had attracted her own bad press, this time warning fans to 'drink responsibly'.

Referring first to her drunk exhibitionism at the Cannes festival, she wrote in her blog, 'Oh dear. Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honour and dignity, explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behaviour was embarrassing.
Taking the blame, she confessed, 'This time I'm putting my hands up, I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It's not cool getting that drunk, I feel awful and I have to thank my little brother alf for getting me home safely.'

'Kids, drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this, not pretty! Was quite fun though, from what I can remember. Need fry up now.'

Her public apology comes after her entourage were forced to carry her out of the Glamour Awards in London, following a boozy evening when she won the Editor's 'Special' Awards.

Jennifer Aniston takes her new man to meet her Friends

Jennifer Aniston's burgeoning romance with singer John Mayer must be getting serious - she's introduced him to her best friend Courteney Cox.

The 39-year-old actress' relationship with Mayer, 30, was made public last month when the pair were photographed cuddling by a pool in Miami, where Aniston has been filming her new movie Marley & Me with Owen Wilson.

After taking their cross-State romance from Miami to New York, Aniston and Mayer made their Los Angeles debut as a couple with a laid-back romantic weekend.

On Sunday, Mayer drove his new girlfriend to the beachside Malibu home of her closest pal and ex-Friends co-star Cox and her husband David Arquette for an evening dinner.

Complimenting her new boyfriend's laid back style, Aniston sported a white vest and blue cardigan with sunglasses as they enjoyed the sunny day.

Cox, 43, is said to be very protective of Aniston, who she supported following her high-profile marriage split with Brad Pitt in 2005.

The Dirt actress was rumoured to have disapproved of Aniston's last long-term boyfriend Vince Vaughn, who she dated for 18 months before splitting in December 2006.

On Saturday night, Aniston and Mayer enjoyed an intimate meal at the exclusive Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, before the tattooed rocker drove them home to the actress' mansion in the Hollywood hills.

The following day, Mayer took the steering wheel again as they rode in his Porsche Cayenne Turbo to the Cox-Arquettes' gated beachside home, where they live with their young daughter Coco, who is Aniston's goddaughter.

Ahead of Aniston's introduction of Mayer to Cox yesterday, a friend told U.S. magazine National Enquirer: 'John's a bit uneasy about it - it's like meeting your lover's mom for the first time. Jen laughs and tells him Courteney just wants to pinch and poke the product.

'Courteney guards Jen like a mother hen. Jen just smiles and reminds her pal she's met John on several occasions - but Courteney comes right back with: "Yeah, but you weren't sleeping with him then."'

Despite their relationship only being known a month, the New York Post reported last week the couple had been dating for three months, but only decided to appear in public recently when it started to get serious.

Singer/songwriter Mayer has previously dated actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and singer/reality TV star Jessica Simpson.

The Ascot-born star sashayed from the Hilton hotel in Manchester to the driver's seat before screeching away for a exciting ride around the city.

This was a rare break for Sarah who is in the middle of a gruelling stadium tour which spans across three months.

Usually pictured on wild nights out around London, she is obviously staying sober to give fans her best performance.
